One of the most important acts of Valencia CF's Centenary celebrations will take place on Monday in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento square: A fireworks display using some 300kg of pyrotechnic material.
The spectacle, created by Amstel in collaboration with fireworks master José Manuel Crespo, will start at 2pm and last for just over six minutes. The likes of VCF legends Kempes, Arias, Ayala, Carboni and Albelda will all be watching on, from the square where they celebrated numerous trophy wins with the club.
Crespo, a big Valencia CF fan, previously let off a special 'mascletà' to celebrate the club's 90th anniversary.
"It is a gift to participate in this event. I won't give too much away about the display, because I want people to be surprised with what we've prepared for Monday," he said.
The VCF Official Sponsor will present the ‘Amstel Mascletà Taronja' in acknowledgement of the club's 100-year history. Amstel have been working in the city's Fallas celebrations for over 30 years.
